Questions & Mysteries Why top tiers can't turn their blades black?

It should be similar to how the swords getting ''cursed'' , it could be the reverse of a weapon being cursed when it gets black. Like Kitetsu swords were cursed because of its previous owners.

HA001

World's Strongest Swordsman
"They just dont care with that stuff", they didn't care with way of swordman, they dont care with pride of swordman, they dont care to deeply connected with their sword. Zoro's statement about Sandai and existence of Enma is proof that sword have their own will. What if to make black blade you not only need high coa level like Roger show, but also need to deeply connected to your sword. Thats why i said they dont care with that kind of stuff
This is all a load of shit.
They do care about the way of their swordsman cause they have learnt sword techniques then haki
then coating the sword in haki then using advanced haki on swords. thats a lot of training for people who dont care.

cause thats a load of bollocks
oden used haki on enma for 21 years and couldnt do it, is zoro gonna get more connected to enma in months max than oden did in 21 years ?
Do you know how many swords zoro has used
Take wado out the equation.
Hes used
Many a random sword
2 mihawk broke.
Jonny and yosakus
Yubashiri
Sandai
Shusui
Scythe
Enma

Will probably get the nidai.

He gives 0 fucks about the rest of his swords as long as he has 3.
Even a black blade shusui which he chased in wano. He gave up without that much argument. Countless swords have broken with zoro. Hes gave one funeral.
Your points about roger shanks etc are nonsense. Youve not got a single panel of shanks or roger or any hints about them fighting cqc without a sword.
then youre tryna chat shit about bonding with a sword lmfao

So it's automatic if the wielder just have very strong CoA? Sound lame to me

I think it's entirely possible to be an extremely strong fighter and even a very skilled swordsman without having a sacred bond with your weapon. Like Whitebeard had Murakumogiri for decades but that doesn't mean he saw it the way Zoro sees his swords. By the same token Moby Dick might not have had a klabautermann either.

they use barrier haki like roger did, instead of imbuing the sword with haki they create a barrier around the sword, I think they care more about the hax ability of barrier haki than about enhancing their sword.

Zoro Worshipper
Maybe it's indeed a CoA related stunt and it takes an incredible level of CoA to turn it that much. I see it likely odds wise. I doubt for now that it's CoC related or anything different relatable to the subject matter.

Welcome to the House of Hope
We dont even know what truly makes the sword permanent black.
Is it the amount of Haki you put into the blade for long periods of time?
Is it putting an EXTREMELY large amount of Haki into it at once?
Is it putting a "level" of Haki high enough?
The only definitions we have are "Ryuma fought so much that one day his sword stayed black".
Extremely vague.
Mihawk just says "cover your sword in Haki, and it will become black. all swords can become black blades."
Also vague.
Zoro ALREADY turns his swords black. They simply dont STAY black after.
So far it just looks like a permanent print of CoA that the blade keeps.
BuT iT lOoKs CoOl.

What someone said that Oda right this story like he is a 5-year old, just creating a bunch of stuff that HE thinks its cool, seems pretty reasonable. There's ZERO reason for Mihawk not explain it properly.
