This has not been clearly stated or i missed in manga.

How did mihawk got wss in first place ? Did he defeat a person who was strongest swordsman.
?

I am pretty sure mihawk got warlord position due to a particular incident ?

Why zoro is particularly aiming for this title?

I dont see vista , tashigi or fujitora (all of them swordsmen/women ) i dont see any of them talk about WSS?

What differentiate others like Roger , Big mom , Shanks , Rayleigh they also use sword and all of them were top tiers . Why Mihawk has the title ?

I need your opinion on this ?

Why is Mihawk WSS even?

Like seriously based on facts :
He never won the score vs High tier Shanks
Never beat Vista
He didnt even beat/fight every top swordmen ( Databook is a joke since it claims that Mihakw fought every until there was none left) he met vista for the first time at MF.
He never been to Wano (no info yet)
Never fought any top tier swordman /fighter (no info yet)

I'm sure he never fought Fuji/Oden/Rayleigh

I'm seriously wondering how did He become WSS?
Was it because of black blade? Hm

I think my theory about him gaining was title due to being Warlord will turn out to be true lol

I am certain Mihawk challenged someone who was strong . Thats why he has WSS title and warlord position.

Have you ever wondered why exactly WG gave him warlord position ? There has to be particular incident that made them appoint him.

They are real swordsman. Just not the strongest.

The WG made him a Shichibukai after they found out that he was able to clash equally with Shanks. The WG then asked Shanks to work with them, but he declined, and then they were so mad that they gave Mihawk the WSS title just to piss off Shanks.

If Mihakw was really there and was unrivaled , Wano will be talking about him

He "just" defeated the previous strongest swordsman. Thus any single swordsman he has not defeated on panel can be considered stronger than him until proven otherwise.
For the time being he is just stronger than Mr1 and not far from Vista

If Mihakw was really there and was unrivaled , Wano will be talking about him

I believe he wrote this before wano arc . Its dated in 2016 but some god points were made back then .
