Either it's Gyukimaru, Kanjuro, or a hallucination it's just unimpactful.

Kanjuro doesn't make sense.
Gyukimaru would be the biggest fuck you to the Scabbards feelings ( I don't care about them but it would be boring still ).
Hallucination is out of the window I think, knowing that Yamato is running elsewhere, because who would be enough for Scabbards to imagine Oden as "this" person.

God I hope not. That'd make this cluster fuck of an arc even worse. We're suffering from character overload, where Oda has to touch on at least 3 plot points per chapter and moves everything at a snails pace. Adding in any BB pirates now would be so unnecessary

You have a point although for me this arc is so fucking bad, annoying, and unredeemable to the point where I just don't care.

There is no tension at all. Catarina Devon could at least bring some spice if she is here after Robin or the Poneglyph.

But I agree. This arc suffers from an overload of characters.

The only Straw Hat that impressed me are Jinbe, Robin, and Franky. Rest are a bunch of fucking clowns running on plot armor all over Onigashima with Sanji as the leading clown.

Oda himself said that he would never imagine Wano going in the direction that it's going. There are many factors that turned this thing into a disaster, some I can say out loud, the other would cause a war in this forum.
