Remember kidd is not apart of the alliance. So the alliance member then straw hat theory won’t apply to kidds crew. That’s why I believe that after Zoros chapter we will get kidds crew which adds up.

I doubt Kidd will do it. He is one of the worst magnetism powers users in the Manga. Never seen someone underutilizing his powers this badly. All dude can think of is Giga mech and floating items.
