I still don’t fully grasp the “diff” hierarchy, but Mihawk wins by whatever measure is closest (they seem evenly matched to me, Mihawk gets the edge because we know Crocodile’s Logia intangibility can be negated).

True, but from what we saw them clashing in MF, Crocodile wasn't taken down at all if it was simple for Mihawk. Pretty sure Crocodile know how to get by as not first time he face Haki opponents before as shown in MF.

Plus If Crocodile gets a hold of him, he be game over for Mihawk with his fluids gone. They got ways to easily kill each other, so they have to be on their toes.
Croco Boi is the same guy who thought Doffy would consider him as an underdog yet he still attempted to fight him. He was nowhere near Mihawk or even Doffy but he deserves respect
