The guy's Hax power doesn't even work to teleport Big Mom due to her gigantic haki, that's an insane feat. Law's Hax only worked with team effort, while Squardo alone stabbed MF Whitebeard and messed him up.

Like I said, this is very much like 1007 with the "Oden" cliffhanger. Next chapter or the following will define how this cliffhanger is received. It has the potential to either be well received if the BMP return next chapter (at the expense of BM's competency but at least its not O-Lin), or straight up O-Lin BS and people absolutely hate it.

I'm a fan of the former and think its happening. Oda had the decency to leave it as a cliffhanger and not show her falling into the water here. That leave a lot of hope for something good to happen.

Oden cliffhanger was bad and this cliffhanger is going to be bad too.
