If Cracker's Haki was better, I think he would cut Luffy's arm off completely when he had the chance to cheap-shot him, but that could be also because of the toughness of G4.

I think it was because Luffy handle very fast and get back his hand, otherwise he would lose it.
Remember, Luffy didn´t try to block Cracker after that attack.^^

Anyway the whole Sabaody's reversed order isn't completely out of the windows yet. The only thing that gets disaproved in this chapter is the whole SH-Ally-SH thingy

Not at all, the pattern is far from dead, there was just never any consecutive sequence:

• 1000: Luffy
• 1004: Tama
• 1005: Robin
• 1006: Hyougoro
• 1007: Chopper
• 1008: Asura Douji
• 10??: Nami
• 10??: Another alliance member

And so on.

Lol no. Zoro tried to block the attack for the others. He could only hold it back for a bit and the attack overpowered him anyway. The others were able to dodge in the interim.

The reason Oda made the supernovas focus only on Kaido was because they could beat Big mom in less that a chapter if they ever focused on her
