Tbh whoever gets the FIRST feat aganist Hybrid Kaidou will put all other feats against Full Dragon Kaidou to shame, so the race is kinda restarted for everyone (except Luffy who's still recovering i guess)

I want to speculate why Kid says that. But there is, in my opinion, no indication for BM saying that. Not in a panel with only Kid and Killer shown, while BM was before shown with Zoro and Luffy at another place.

It is sure that for someone who played it at the beginning of the fight "you come to see my fight"

It is true that he was not impressive but hey, you have to spit on him too much it's not his fault, Oda has always said that the supernovas were not planned as a base so suddenly he will not give them the same importance as Luffy and Zoro. The only supernova that has become an almost main character apart from the mugiwaras is Trafalgar D Water Law.

You shouldn't expect much from Kid and even the other supernovas besides Law because otherwise you may be disappointed.

I'm particulatry excited about Apoo's full AP extent, but that's about it. However he seemed to be tanti too.

I think Kidd is most likely the third strongest nova right now, at least by common portrayal and I'm loving his intelligent combat.
