I think the reason why Kidd thanked Zoro is in all likelihood referred to his feat independently from whether or not Kidd was teleported by Law which is unlikely going by Kidd's movements anyway. After all had Zoro not assisted the novae, there would have been no teleport to begin with, crazy to think differently.

Then tell me why they stated '1 second' when spoilers came out after seeing chapter themselves? In quick fashion of the attack, it make sense how fast it was coming and hurting Zoro. He would have die if he stay there and he probably stated those stuff in fast pace. Not much wording to state what he stated in that time. Again it's not a feat to push him on that if Law had to saved him knewing he wasn't going to able to stop it. No shame in that as I give him it to him on trying, but you don't push feat on trying if it didn't go through. Think of all feats we give to others based on the 'try' if you want make it like that. It wouldn't make sense here and there.

You do realize they using this 'headcannon' to push Admirals will get defeated by Zoro now since they can never do it even Akainu. I wouldn't try to help on their toxic mindset.
