The theory always was that Zoro performs his feat, loses on the rooftop, then is used elsewhere until either ZKK or nothing more. The scabbards are going through this exact same motion right now so we know it CAN work.


The problem is we have no idea how the 3 calamities are even going to be handled yet, and the battle on the rooftop doesn't even seem to be the true end of it, so how about we wait before you start making fun of a theory

I disagree because of what Zoro has done to this point. He has fought Kaido this whole time, it's the first time he's gone this off script and fought a Yonko, not to forget he has 0 energy.

In your view what is your prediction on how Zoro ends up encountering King?

I agree with your opinion on Sanji and Yamato, that makes sense thinking about it from the perspective Yamato has yet to fight someone, but only issue is she did mention she wanted to fight Kaido "as oden"

My prediction has to so with someone tying Zoro back to his Shimotsuki lineage plotline. We know it's coming. We know Oda teased it.

This has nothing to do with King, but its the pure fact that there is MORE for Zoro to do in Wano that perform feats against Kaido. I still think Kozaburo is going to show up and explain everything to him. I still think Perospero is going to inhibit Marco from fighting King or Queen. I still think Yamato is fighting Jack. I still think Sanji is fighting Queen. I still think Queen is going to fuck with Chopper and Drake and potentially make them fight.

And in my opinion, that leaves King for Zoro, especially now since it's very easy to take him out of the fight with Kaido. He did what he needed to do on the roof FOR NOW.

I have NOT changed my views about this arc at all yet. I still fundamentally believe Oda is setting up extremely clean matchups between the Strawahts and Beasts Pirates. Zoro, Sanji and Yamato are the last pieces of that puzzle, and I will believe it until the calamity matchups are finalized and either contradict or verify my theory on it.


Its up to you if you are willing to accept that things can be written this way. There IS merit for it.

King still doesn’t have an opponent and it seems onimaru and hiyori are on onigashima.

Zoro already have an Opponent, that's the difference

King is already fighting Marco & there are multiple Characters who are still fit to fight King & prove themselves such as Sanji, Drake, Hawkins, Yamato, Scabbards ... etc

And what's the point in tanking Yonko & showing attacks capable of killing Yonko & then fighting some mere Commander?

You people just wanna ignore everything just to see zoro & sanji fight similar opponents which is something that only happened twice in +1000 chapters & after Asura reveal, it's now debatable if Jabra was even Kaku's equal so that "2" might be just "1" after all & happened long long long time ago

When has Oda off screened a main fight this entire raid?

If he dedicates 1 to 2 chapters to each straw hats fight it will be done in 5-10 chapters at best. (Nami/Usopp and Robin/Brook count for one fight both). Is that really that crazily long? It takes like 3 months.

It's not just SHs its also the scabbards, yakuza, and everyone in between he has to dedicate it too.

I would not mind if there was 1 chapter for

Brook Robin to finish off BM
Jimbei and Franky to finish off Who's Who and Sasaki
Usopp and Nami to finish off Page One and Ulti
