It WOULD make sense. I doubt it will happen, simply because Oda doesn't usually let characters explain things to the strawhats.
Zoro in particular , has never been a person who cares about people's storys anyways.
He didn't return Enma because Wano's citizens worship as a sacred artifact but because Hiyori asked him to and gave something in return. He had bonded with her and saw that it matters to her.
Heck, even back in East Blue Zoro didn't care about Nami's backstory.
So, I don't think there will be a big reveal about Zoro's ancestors because this is just not the way Oda writes.

I do think it's wasting forsure though. For ex Look at Dressrosa, right, that was terribly over extended because he had tons of non SH supporting characters in fights bec he matched the fights with SHs and executives, i hope he will do it to that extent in wano and it will be a lot shorter.
Also we are 100 chapters in too, there has to be a belief from My POV this thing is wrapping up in no more than 45 chapters IMO

I always knew that Luffy vs Kaido is going to happen in the skies or sky island. The reason being, is that both Kaido and Luffy can't go all out at the top of the dome. We can joke around of how strong the dome is since it hasn't collapsed yet, dispite the damage it took. But, if Oda wants to make Luffy vs Kaido be an epic fight, then he has to show the power of their attacks through damage they make. You can't do that at the top of the dome, especially when both Kaido and Luffy can fly; on the other hand if Kaido and Luffy fight in the skies that would allow to truly separate Big Mom from Kaido.
You can be still right with awakenend Kaido, it is only time of matter until he reveal it.^^

With means Luffy not have it, weak as guys like DonChinjao and Doffy also not have it, even Katakuri don´t have it.
