General & Others Is Zoro the vice-captain or close? Is he Lufy's right-hand man?

after all these moments when Zoro led the crew after Luffy wasn't available or anything else?
When were those moments that he led the crew ??

I have dozens of panels showing Sanji leading the group in the absence of Luffy (not saying that Sanji is VC), but Zoro is just a leader who looks higher, just like Sanji.

Any panels of sanji leading the crew when zoros there.
Anyone stupid enough to say sanji has a chance of being vc after wci is wasting everyones time.

I guess people forget when Luffy left Vivi in Zoro’s care the first time he went to fight Crocodile, or when Zoro was leading his Skypeia team at the Sacrificial Altar, or when Zoro was taking charge in W7 even with Luffy around after Usopp left the crew, or Zoro taking charge at the Bridge of Hesitation when Luffy was fighting Lucci, or when Zoro gave Luffy the conditions for Usopp to return to the crew (and Sanji agreed with Zoro over Nami), or when Zoro was leading the fight against Oars when Luffy was fighting Moria, or when Zoro took charge when Kuma revealed himself and Luffy was KO’d, or when Zoro took over Ryugu Palace and took King Neptune hostage, or when Sabo gave Zoro Luffy’s Vivre card over Robin (who he actually knew), or when Robin deferred for Zoro’s judgement and not Law’s when Luffy went ahead on Zou, or when Zoro was ordering Sanji and Franky around at Rasetsu town...

I’m sure there are other incidents that I’m leaving out.

Well, Luffy, the captain, abandoned his crewmates to their fate and endangered his own dream to save Ace. How is leaving the crew to defend Zeff and the crew itself from BM's wrath any worse than that?
He just tried to save Luffy, Zeff and the curlyhats with every possible mean, even kicking the captain to convince him to go away or accepting to live in a nightmare until his death.

It was an abdurd decision knowing Luffy's personality and everything else but what else could he have done? Kick everyone until a box with Zeff's head is brought to him?

Zoro led the crew after Enies Lobby when even his captain was about to make a huge mistake by running towards Ussop instead of acting like a real captain.
That moment made it clear that Zoro is the second guy in command when even his captain is obviously too bias to make proper decisions as the captain. Thus, Zoro was there to tell his captain that he has to pull his shit together because he's the effing captain.

The second moment is in Thriller Bark when Zoro was even willing to sacrifice his own life by protecting his captain and the crew.
Why do you think Zoro knocked Sanji out in the first place? It's because of Zoro's responsibility as the vice captain not to endanger his crew mates.

Heck, at first Sanji should demonstrate that he's on par with Nami in command since Nami as the navigator has huge responsibilities in the crew. That's why she discussed with Zoro about Ussop instead of Sanji.

I have dozens of panels showing Zoro commanding and leading the crew even when Sanji was there.

Btw. Sanji hurting Luffy, disrespecting him and leaving the crew already made it clear that he is not on par with Zoro in terms of hierarchy. Fuck, he's not even on par with Nami...

One the crew was already seperated.
2 now they have to fight 2 yonko forces
3 luffy didnt call sanji a shit pirate and try hurt him to the best of his capabilities

Apparently the name "curly hat pirates"/"Twirly hat crew" gets a lot of significance to it here.

People are seemingly forgetting the circumstances in which that name was created.

It arose out of a gag scene where nami vehemently says they wont set sail without luffy, their captain, because they are the strawhat crew. Then some crazy shit happens and she wants to leave as "twirly hat crew".

And now @everyone that humored this name and the idea that it gives sanji significance, get back on topic discussing whether zoro is the vice captain/first mate/right hand or not lmao.

you forgot franky,
ray can coat ships too
:smithnie:
so he is 3 in one

where did ray's vc title or advisor title come from
Zoro needs such an intro box otherwise all this talk about him being the VC and first mate is all wank. We saw Oda is not afraid to give new intro boxes to existing characters when he did it with Luffy post-WCI.

Zoro is not the Vice captain, but his W7 speech when everyone lost their shit makes it seem that he deserves to be.
Jinbe, Sanji and Zoro all had their leadership moments.
