I can tell I’ve really got to you lol, no other user’s posts are filled with as much spite as yours when they reply to me. I’m sorry that the reality of Shanks being garbage is too much for you.
But nah for real, the development that CoC can be weaponized for attacks (which I literally stated when Roger fought Whitebeard that they were likely using CoC and not CoA), is a really awesome development.
It’s hype as shit that Zoro has been doing this since Enies Lobby (even though Asura didn’t have much effect on the Pacifista), it’s awesome that he has the power.
It’s also awesome that Luffy is learning this power on the spot. Roger, Whitebeard, and Kaido, all look much more powerful now as a result.
Every conqueror in this manga just got hyped. The only conqueror, who is once again left in the dust in terms of his ever-decreasing hype and plot relevance, is Shanks.
People were saying Shanks had the best CoC in the manga, but...it looks like from the way Kaido spoke, Shanks’ CoC isn’t above Oden’s or anyone else’s. Shanks was supposed to teach Luffy advanced CoC, but it looks like Luffy can just learn it from seeing Kaido do it once. People said Kaido would not have strong Haki because that would make him too powerful, well now Kaido has the strongest offensive Haki in the verse, on top of the strongest Zoan Devil fruit and a nearly invincible body.
Shanks is once again portrayed as the one armed cripple who can’t do anything right. Even base-Kaido can arguably defeat Shanks now before we even bring his DF into it lol.
Akainu could become the Pirate King and complete Roger’s ambition in less than a year, while Shanks is left fighting Teach for 3rd place among Yonko, and is begging the Gorosei to stop Teach from kicking him down to last place since Whitebeard couldn’t defeat Teach in Shanks’ stead.
No wonder Shanks is only brave enough to face Teach when his crew is alongside him.
