Vegapunk tried to use Kaido's lineage factor to create a second Seiryu, clearly foreshadowing how hyped the unrevealed strongest Zoan is and our cowardly, yet ambitious fat hippo will eat it in one bite.

Luffy got more hype in this chapter than Zoro and Zoro used his most powerful ability, Ashura. Oda really did it

Zoro WON the exchange against Kaido while being heavy injured....He only colapsed due to last chapter's injury, Zoro was stronger than Luffy withoud a doubt before the rooftop fight started and Luffy got a new mid-fight powerup.

It obviously wasn't. Ragnarok was the first time Luffy experienced a CoC imbued attack which made him realize that CoC can be used in that way.

It could be that Zoro just cut deep enough with Ryou and Enma. Asura is his strongest technique after all.

It does change something. You can't compare Luffy soloing a Doffy that almost died some minutes ago to Luffy soloing someone that is still fine even after he took all the hits. Thiscould be easily solved with a line from Kaido saying that the Asura nerfed him or something like that
