Tbh, she might no longer be cute in physical appearance but her attitude and personality is cuter and really defines her.

Initially, I was like yes brulee should suffer, then she became a gag character for me but her past along with her relationship with Katakuri gradually grew upon me.

Even though BM children act as family unit, these two are special case among them. Infact, I will put brulee over many female characters like shirahoshi.
