You should check your dictionary. Luffy was knocked out. Just because he got up later doesn't mean he wasn't knocked out. Even in real world, people who get knocked out are able to get up after some moments.

If Luffy is already a dead man walking after taking a significantly weaker attack than Hakai

You said a significantly weaker than attack so you excluded others attacks from Kaido
Zoro only taked (on panel) a part of Hakai and BM's Lightgning.

Seriously Luffy wasn't knocked out of a few seconds.
When he was knocked out for the entire duration of the sups throwing Big Mom off and Zoro cutting Kaido with Asura.
Being unconcious from a hit is a KO. There's no ifs or buts here.


Just like how I excluded the other attacks Zoro took. Thunder Bagua didn't fully hit Luffy

Luffy wasn't knocked out when Big Mom was falling. He was knocked out far before that. And he woke up far after that (Zoro and Law fighting Kaido and Zoro using Asura)

He was kicked inconclusive so yes it is a Knockout

Zoro being out for a while is irrelevant when he was knocking out by a significantly stronger attack

No preparation requires him to be aware.

WB example is not even comparable to a blow to the back of the head.
Again why do you ignore the time frame. What happened after he was knocked out? The plan begun and they started taking care of Big Mom. This chapter, we have Big Mom falling and Luffy is still knocked out. He doesn't wake up until after Kaido uses Bagua.


Nice way to disregard your own definition and the manga. When Luffy was knocked out, he was out of the fight. If it was a 1 v 1 , Kaido would've killed him in that situation.
Except Luffy isn't looking better when Zoro has the better feats by taking the attack
