Speculations 5 reasons why Sanji will not fight King.

They are introduced at the same time and contrasted with the other All Star as definitive superiors to him, while they go back and forth and don't take orders from each other
Zoro thinks that both routes guarded by the two make it for a difficult journey to the top
And they get comparable portrayal in many sequences, with the latest one being their vs Marco
Where Marco doesn't single out one of them as much more troublesome than the other, talking about the two in the same breath.
Obviously we all know King is stronger than Queen, but for a YC2 Queen is getting significant amount of hype and direct comparison with the YC1 of the beast pirates.
If Katakuri was the definitive peerless kid of Big Mom, and at no point a clear separation was made between Smoothie and Cracker to put her on a completely different level, for the Beast Pirates King and Queen are the standout subordinates of Kaido who have served under him for decades and were highlited ever since Oden and the Scabbards tried to fight Kaido in the past
shown since back then alongside their captain as basically his right and left hand men ever since his early days.

We've see Queen in the following chapter without a scratch remaining after Marco's attacks. Queen is also a cyborg, so damage to the outer layer of his skin is less relevant when you got the modifications underneath.
Again, it's clear to all of us that King is stronger than Queen and if they fight King wins. There are distinctions for us to grasp that even if the monickers were not enough. But Queen is getting very good treatment for a YC2, and shown as comparable to King with Jack as point of reference for how far above him they both are, which is something special.
This takes nothing from King, it's just Queen hype that people should not overlook :queenhear:

Sanji vs Queen is still the most probable match up in my opinion, it's just more fitting considering Sanji usual type of opponent.
Sanji vs King is instead our most wanted possibility because of the aereal fight with kick and fire and the better portrayal.
I'm fine with either of them, I just want to see Sanji vs a Calamity who isn't Jack, but just because Jack is already a lot injured. Sanji vs full healthy hybrid Jack would have been very cool as well.

I'd actually really like that outcome and I've been thinking that it seems possible. Would make everyone involved look pretty good. Zoro's beat up and aerial combat isn't his speciality so him having some assistance works but he'll still obviously show he's the strongest there, Sanji might not be strong enough to face King 1v1 so Zoro makes up for his shortcomings as well. Plus, these dudes haven't teamed up nearly enough in the series. King and Queen had no issue 2v1'ing Marco. A 2v2 would work.

If zoro and sanji fight king and queen and Oda confirms the bounty theory( 1.33 and 1.32) it’s clear they are meant to be near equals
Nerfed Sanji with us being told that his body was damaged pre Gin and Vergo, as for his encounter with Kaku, for the first time he ran into the CP9 pre EL Sanji didn't really do bad
He nearly broke Blueno's Tekkai and impressed Kaku making him warn Blueno that Sanji must be a Main Fighter of the crew ( canon label that goes against the "just a cook" memes btw
).
That's more than most SH's managed to do against the CP9 before we got the EL proper. Like we've seen Zoro vs Kaku as well in a similar manner
