It's really fucking simple. If Oda wanted Sanji vs Queen, he wouldnt do these long mental gymnastics to have them end up together. He would've directly made Sanji go to fucking Udon or have Sanji retrieve the cure or have Sanji tag-team with Drake and stay on the live-floor.
But instead he constantly puts him with King....
Who did Sanji fight to save Momo.....King
Who directly opposes everyone Sanji wants to protect....King
Who was talking to Maria whilst Sanji was bound.....King
You can even look at small similarities such as King telling WsW to stay in his place, same way Sanji did with Jinbe. Or the way they order weaker crewmates around and be their somewhat interim leader.
But yes let's have Sanji abandon the Samurai and Momo, and let his entire arc be about fucking Germa....again....instead of the fucking Samurai that he befriended and wants to protect. It's not like whenever Momo and the Samurai are in danger....Sanji isnt the first person to act and try to save them.
But whatever. Let King kill them after he deals with Marco...
