Speculations 5 reasons why Sanji will not fight King.

1. I am not reading any fake translation. He only says the thing about Zoro not Sanji. Funny how you didn't post the next page when mans said he can't "Afford" to let this man live. While Sanji just talking about he on a different level.

What made Arlong scarred is him being alolice at all. Sanji did not get this stop it.

Sanji has yet to beat the 2nd strongest or the first strongest in 1000 chapters. Injures ain't an excuse. You gotta won with Injures sometime. Sanji doesn't have that potrayal and Wano looks like the best chance for him to get it.
What made Arlong decide to kill him is what he could become.

Zoro was not a threat in Arlong Park, partially because of his injuries. I showed you Arlong's impression of his feats at the time, it's his determination and what that could mean for Zoro's future that impressed Arlong.

And stop with the disingenous phrasing of Sanji's words, which started with a notoriously spread mistranslation of what he said. Sanji called Arlong on another level when compared to other fish-men

Injuries play a role for the narrative. This example with Zoro is a prime one, where Zoro could not do shit against Arlong, but him fighting in that injured state is what made Arlong think that he should be eliminated now.

Same was the case with Sanji with Gin where said injuries furthered Gin's understanding of how far Sanji's willing to go for his beliefs for example. Because it was more important in Baratie to further Sanji's character at the cost of winning a fight, which is why he was injured, so that one could be achieved at the cost of the other.

Sanji's not going to defeat King this arc. Queen is his opponent :goyea:

We all knows only delusional fanboys thought this was going to happen they’re always searching for a way to make zoro and Sanji relative
First it was facing a commander=Fighting and scarring a yonko
Now they’re saying king and queen are relative
If Sanji ends up fighting perospero they’ll start saying him and king are relative
Sanji vs Kanjuro is all they'll get

Blah....blah lmao. Who tf cares about feats. Sanji had a better endurance feat than Zoro in Skypeia, better Strength feat then him in TB and a better AoE in FI.

Yall are obbssesed with Zoro always fighting the nr2. Dont make excuses when Sanji does the same.
Sanji git 1 shot twice in Skypia and couldn't beat his opponent without Luffy help. He did not have any better endurance feat

Arlong Seen a half dead man and was scared. While he taught Sanji wasn't special. Sanji did not have same potrayal its simple.

Injuries are not an excuse, Sanji has never beaten anybody 1st or 2nd strongest. Theur no narrative or feats for it.

But not because of Zoro's feats, that's the whole point.

Arlong called Zoro trash when he hit him with the water bullet and he remained floored for longer than Sanji.

Arlong said Zoro has no real power when he tried to cut his nose and could not even leave a scratch on it.

If you take away Zoro's injuries, Arlong's opinion of Zoro is that he is trash with no real power based on his feats.

So which one is it ? Do we take Zoro's feats, or do we account for his injuries and portrayal that comes with them even if he can't defeat the opponent in front of him or even put a single scratch on him ?

Zoro's injuries are used to let Arlong know about what kind of a man he is, and what that says about him in the future. Sanji's injuries are also used to let Gin know what kind of a man he is, and what that says about him in the future. Both have narrative purpose, and informs the decisions of those that these characters interact with.

Sanji's appeal in Barratie was not to beat Gin up, but to show Gin that he's the kind of person worth going against his own captain's orders for. So his injuries given prior to his interaction with Gin are used to explain the first, and help further the later.

It is a because of Zoro feat for being Alive with something Arlong thinks should Kill a man. He seen Zoro fighting before this. He thinks he should be dead.

He called him trash until he sees what he going through while he was fighting him.

Bro i literally said it was potrayal. Arlong got scared after seeing what Zoro been walking around with.

Sanji got his ass beat by Gin and was pitiful vs Doffy. King is probably his last hope of beating 21st or 2nd strongest

zoro was shocked 3 times sanji only once, cry some more
Wasnt Zoro shocked only twice ? One nameless and one named ? And even then we dont even know how many volts the named attack Zoro took was...

Sanji was shocked by his finisher move...

And he'll recover just enough to fight. The fact he hasn't gotten his chapter yet is proof of this.

Oda will give Zoro or King to give a fuck about each other when the time comes.
Yh carry on spouting your fanfic.

Yes, Arlong was impressed by Zoro's perseverence and his ability to push himself once he was made aware of his injuries.

Zoro still had a trash performance and shit feats in combat against Arlong, but the fact that he was injured can be used as an explanation, and in turn to actually hype Zoro for pushing himself in spite of those injuries, even if he couldn't really do anything against Arlong because of them
