Speculations 5 reasons why Sanji will not fight King.

1. 2nd strongest
Historically Sanji does not do well against the 2nd strongest in crews.
Kaku used kicks very proficiently also had a lot of speed and agility similar to Sanji, makes you wonder why they didn't fight. Which brings me to my next point......
2. The Matchup
Many people have believed Sanji will fight King since they have similar abilities like fire and flight..........
Contrary to popular belief, Sanji fighting people who have similar abilities to him has not worked well for sanji. If anything it puts Sanji at a disadvantage.
Doflamingo was very good with kicks, and had flying abilities just like Sanji.
Vergo was adapt with kicks and had rokushiki abilities just like Sanji,
Judge had flying abilities just like Sanji, He was extremely good in the air, he was known as the Garuda because of this.
Overall Sanji does not do well against those who can match his key attributes like Speed, agility and flight.
3. The Presence of Zoro and Marco downstairs
These 2 characters being downstairs makes it all the more likely that Sanji will not Fight King.
Zoro is going to go downstairs and Marco is also there.
Zoro is the 2nd strongest and also now has the ability to cut fire. King is known as King the Wildfire......
Marco is a 1st commander like King and can also fly just as proficiently if not better than King.
4. 3rd strongest
Sanji is 3rd strongest , He always defeats characters who are 3rd or below, never anything higher than 3rd. Even in some of Sanjis best arcs in the series he still fought 3rd strongest. the formula isn't going to change.
5. The Difficulty of Sanjis Fights........
Sanji generally has an easy time in fights designed for him to win. Its never been anything more than Mid Difficulty.
Given King's portrayal as a 1st commander, its unlikely that he'll be treated as a mid diff fight for anyone. Especially after Luffy went extreme diff with a 1st commander last arc. 1st Commanders are portrayed on a level of their own compared to other Yonko Commanders.

Sanji was stronger than Gin, it was obvious that Oda completely nerfed Sanji for him to lose the fight and have the dramatic moment.Sanji was so nerfed that he couldn't take the pressure of his own kicks.
Sanji faced Kuroobi who was the 2nd strongest of the Arlong pirates.
Sanji with DJ was clearly above Kaku too, not even debatable.
Sanji has always been portrayed as being Luffy's wing. Zoro and Sanji were the ones who were together with Luffy in the return of the TS against the pacifists and final message with Rayleigh. Zoro and Sanji are for Luffy what Rayleigh was for Roger.
For the 5th reason, you completely ignored the way Queen was also portrayed. King and Queen are Jack's "older brothers", who are monsters that intimidate Jack and were together with Kaido 20 years ago in the making of Wano. Even in the war, King and Queen are being exhaustively portrayed as equals. So I really don't know where you got King from one level above Queen
Watch it be Law vs King and Sanji vs Queen
I mean, if Law is going down the roof, he's gotta fight a Calamity right? He's almost unscathed and still combat-able. Plus he has a Sword.
Honestly Oda should just boink Law's head and have him removed from the rest of the fights. He's just that OP

Base King demonstrated much better offensive feats against Marco than Zoan Queen. Dudes AP is so good that even Marco couldn't fully regenerate from his attacks. King is taking hits better than Zoan Queen too. Toughness is one area where Queen is definitely supposed to dominate King but King is better even in that regard. It is utter nonsense to even consider they're close just because they bicker over meaningless things.
I think people are forgetting that time is a factor in this situation, it should realistically only take sanji a couple of minutes to get to his destination which seems to be momo, when we are reintroduced to sanji similarly in ennies lobby his fight will commence that same chapter, so now we have a dilemma...who among the beast pirates in the next couple minutes will prioritize momo
?.....King of course queen has no interest in momo or the scabbards, for zoro to fight king he would have to somehow recover in a couple minutes get down from the treasure room where he most likely will be taken and start a fight with king who he has no interactions with, so from a time perspective it is an impossibility.

All wrong, the fight against Marco:
Both took 2 attacks:
Queen took 2 named attacks with the claws of the phoenix (both when Queen was off guard)
King took 2 attacks, only 1 named and one base kick
King cut Marco's wing, but Queen had previously also shot Marco (chapter 1000). And the only reason King cut Marco's wing was because Queen previously attacked him in the first place.
Marco also never considered King a bigger threat, his own declaration of facing 2 characters with a reward above 1 billion was not an easy task, putting King and Queen on the same pedestal
The reasons why I put them on the same level is not because of the discussions, but because of the way they are configurably placed on the same pedestal.
From the first appearance, both were shown to rival, lynching Jack and being treated like Jack's older brothers.
Then, in the flashback, King and Queen were shown attacking the sheaths together.
In onigashima they too were put together by Zoro as difficult barriers, and Marco's fateful action crushed them with his wings.
