Powers & Abilities Does Kaido or Big Mom have Ryuo or what?

#42
they're using the concept of flow, it's an advanced technique that makes the user able to create an external coat of CoA or CoC or both at the same time
the user can't skip stages, they gotta learn how to coat with CoA first then they'll be able to apply the same thing with CoC
ACoC should allow the user to do internal damage, as opposed to ACoA that only serves as a suit of armor

I see no reason it works differently for different weapons aside from the obvious fact that the nature of attack determines the kind of damage being done. COA just amplifies whatever you use it with; it doesn't work differently for different users. If you use it with a sword, it cuts better and if you use it with a punch it hits harder.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I said in my previous quote to you. It was advanced COA but we were never given the confirmation about which level of COA it was but we later learned that Zoro doesn't have internal destruction but he still managed to damage Kaido which could only mean that it was a barrier armament which Zoro clearly posses.

lmao thanks man. This is one panel I needed the most to prove my point.

@HA001 I guess COA is not needed to not touch things.
Responding to your comment: If that were the COA's differential, Luffy would only need to put more strength in his punches, to overcome the durability of KAIDO, and this is not the case.
ODEN touched KAIDO during the cut, Ryou's definition is internal destruction without touching the user, there is a difference between a punch and a sword cut.

When KID says: can a punch work on KAIDO? This clearly shows that the normal COA is not enough, and the same applies to KILLER, who has a sharp weapon and introduces himself as an impressed person after Luffy's ACOA demonstration.

That's why the standard COA, the same COA that Luffy used there in 921, doesn't work.
KAIDO claimed that the sheaths would be using RYOU, more superficially, the sheaths needed to touch KAIDO to pierce it, this goes against the concept of not having to touch the user, as luffy demonstrated by punching that tree, there is a difference from Ryou (ACOA) in sword, and punch.
But by no means is the normal COA drilling KAIDO.

That is why ZORO used ACOA, KAIDO was cut by TATSUMAKI, Ryou luffy also caused damage to KAIDO, although superficial, in the same way that the sheaths also caused superficial damage.

Didn't we see Luffy destroy the tree using CoA: internal destruction?? Wasn't that the whole purpose of his training with Hyo???

No one has ever made a power system more confusing than Oda & bloody Togashi.

@draganax
Luffy already did Internal damage in act 2 without CoC... Dont you remember the panel of him blowing up a tree from the inside without making contact?
Same thing I said. I am already confused as it is and my man is out here talking about CoC internal destruction tf

@Shisui_038
hyougoro only knows the concept behind it

he doesn't know how to teach that ability because he doesn't have the required type of haki, only luffy has it which is CoC

he told luffy to keep doing it while he remembers how he did it the first time, so he can get used to it

luffy used it again to break yamato's cuffs, he needed to concentrate/deep focus

he still doesn't understand how it works so he does it out of memory
the same way zoro was using iai shishi sonson/rashomon, he doesn't understand that what he did was haki but he was capable of doing it from remembering the feeling of being close to death

that's how luffy was able to do it before understanding how it works
he was fighting kaido aside from the red rock attack he was mostly using regular ACoA because he doesn't have time for concentration
until kaido hit him with ragnarock then he figured it out

now he can easily do it without needing to deeply concentrate

First:they have god tier physical strength, very strong hardening armament haki(not flow or penetration) and both of then have advanced Conquerors Haki to infuse their blows with!

As i understand:flow armament haki=ryou(minimum required to hurt kaido, scabbards and zoro have it),penetration armament haki=advanced armament haki(only luffy has displayed it)!As for CoC,advanced conquerors haki has the same properties of flow armament(barrier outside body) and penetration haki(destroy things internaly),it also amplifies effects of armament haki!So i see BM and Kaido as physical strenght freaks, with strong hardening and advanced conquerors haki! They don't have flow or penetration armament haki! That's how i understood this!If i am wrong, please some one explain to me how this works!I wish oda had rayleigh explain the haki system like the nen system was explained in Hunter x Hunter! It would make things more predictable, but it would make reading the manga easier!

What is the explicit differenxe between whay Big mom just did to Page one and what Luffh did to kaido last chapter?

Like in practice, what exactly is the difference between the two?

BM just has hardening armament haki plus advanced conquerors! As i understand, advanced conquerors haki can be infused in your attacks and it has the properties of flow haki and penetration haki(create a barrier outside of body and destroy things internaly)! So if thats the case,Luffy unlocking advanced conquerors just multiplied his flow and penetration armament haki by x2!So thats how he is keeping up with Kaido in base!Kaido and BM have freak physical strenght, decent hardening armament haki and advanced conquerors haki!
I understood conquerors haki like this:it can be projected outside of the body to subdue weak spirits and destroy inert objects, but if infused in your attacks it does the same thing as flow and penetration armament haki! And it can be infused with coa haki as well to increase its strenght by x2!It might even be possible to combine it with observation haki somehow,Oda created something very weird with advanced COC!
P.S:i may be wrong though, this stuff is confusing!

ryou is the general name of haki in wano, the spiritual energy it's the raw form of haki
having raw haki makes you able to touch logia users
that raw haki can be used in tree colors: armament, observation, conqueror's
hardening is a separate technique of armament, it hardens your body or the objects you hold, greatly increasing both defense and offense
the concept of flow gives you the ability to use the unnecessary haki around your body to coat yourself or things with CoA or CoC or both
when you coat with CoA it creates the barrier
when you coat with CoC it does internal damage
when you coat with both at the same time it does like what luffy, kaido and big mom did

CoA does not penetrate/do internal damage
