Eventually his awakening shall prove particularly proficient against magma. And still in general rubber is not meant to be. So it would be counterintuitive to believe something like that.

Much more probably the secret underlies in the gears + CoC. Expecially the latter. But Akainu himself might feature it. It would be a matter of levels.

Basically Akainu will be unable to land even 1 clean hit on the guy whose fights are made of him taking a a lot of clean hits...
I cannot see it happening, no matter how hard I try. Oda wont do Akainu that dirty.

The blueno treatment is not out of question if Luffy keeps growing in strength.
It would be more entertaining if Akainu could resist but it would be more satisfying to see him getting ragdolled

Were people expecting Blueno treatment for people ever since FS and aCoA only to get a disappointment vs Apoo, Ulti, Page1 and so on?

Oda will just retcon his magma power. It will burn Luffy but not to the extent of losing a limb, and Luffy will block most of his attacks anyway

I personally doubt that Coby shall attack a Marine no matter how much he dislikes his principles unless maybe his own life was at risk and even then I don't quite think that's probably the case at all, conversely.

I also wished so but sadly our MC is growing and Sakazuki will in all likelihood not last forever. But I bet if Luffy v Akainu happened one on one during the FW there are fair chances Luffy would die.

Wouldnt it be better, in that case, to let someone else fight Akainu, someone against who his magma doesn't need a nerf?
On the other hand, if his Awakening works like producer paramecias do, he could do better and wouldnt need magma nerf.
It still means Akainu never lands a clean hit tho, it's just more plausible if Awakening is in the way.

Not going all out =/= being nerfed. Even if he went all out, nothing would have changed, none of them are Blueno.
All of them are standing back up from everything they have faced so far. Blueno treatment on a top tier is wishful thinking.
Akainu is his final fight and he is a top tier, Blueno treatment is impossible.

Papazuki took 2 island splitters/massive tsunami inducers head on and merely suffered mid body damage at least for what it concerns confirmed damage.

No barrier, no magma defence... utter monster, freak.

And those punches look still much better than Thunder Bagua does nowadays.
