And if something like this occurs, it would be a kick in the balls for Zoro.. Imagine training so hard and fighting tough enemies, with the motivation of being the WSS, having a story built up for beating one guy, only to find that guy dead in the end and killed by some dude who doesn't give a shit about the WSS title.
Zoro in order to become wss needs to defeat the current one. Mihawk is not immortal, if he gets defeated by another swordsman, that one will become wss and the new challenge for zoro to achieve his dream.
But i agree, this is simple.
Edit: I mean if mihawk gets killed, not defeated. Though i guess both would make another the WSS, so it still applies somewhat, just not to what im saying about him not being immortal

Nah man, since it's ok to gift Shanks abilities, I figure it's ok to gift Mihawk abilities. He has an immortality DF and can use King Crimson to erase any defeats he may suffer

Lol maybe your theory would be credible if there was any build up to another swordsman beating Mihawk but there isn’t. No one is on his level besides zoro

Yes, which is quite literally what i said initially. Still doesnt make it impossible for mihawk to die along the way and wouldnt be the first bad choice oda made, right?
its definitely possible that mihawk dies before zoro is able to beat him. that would give an interesting twist to zoros dream oda could expand on. Though if mihawk dies to another swordsman that would legit just replace mihawk for zoros dream and therefore not be interesting at all and would be pretty bad considering the buildup for mihawk vs zoro ever since east blue.

Bro.Are you being deliberately stupid or what is happening right now?
Im not saying its going to happen, and i clearly said it would be bad if it would happen (him dying to SSG or whatever would be a different story). Im just not dismissing the possibility, because i dont want to make assumptions in favor of any bias.
He could even die to a non-swordsman, which actually would put an interesting twist to it.
