One Piece was so much better without him, Wano could have been so much better without him. I dont particularly hate Oden, but the way Oda handled his character. Those precious flashback chapters could have been used on strawhats and other strong allies. All that happened could be explained later via Oden's journal.

Oda could have easily cut the flashback in half and we wouldn't miss much.
