Like he couldve literally wrote Sanji flying away with Momo or have Queen fighting Sanji. Like he did not have to do what he did in Chap 988.

Also why didn't he have him use his sword in this instance?......it's just too obvious man. The two times King has been the most successful he wasn't using his sword rather using his devil fruit; kicking and using his beak (big mom and sanji incident) . When this guy did use his sword he got disarmed then another instance caught Marco off guard and still did nothing of real value and got kneed into a building.

Yeah it just won't happen sadly for the Sanji fans who are so desperate for it King seems tailor made for Zoro. How easy would it have been for Oda to make King pure aerial fighter, the moment he sliced up Marco and did the most damage using his sword was the last nail in the coffin

There are 3 reasons why Oda would do something:

- Plot
- Hype
- Gags

Sanji vs King wasnt a funny scene, so it wasnt for gags. It could be a hype scene, but then again he really didnt hype any of them much. Only thing left is for plot and set-up.

Made for Zoro = Just having a sword.

I guess Sasaki, WsW, Queen are all also made for Zoro.

His sword is like Katakuri's trident. It's there and he'll use it sometimes. But his main weapon is his DF. And that will be his Beak in that case.

King's design is very similar to Magellan's, King could be Magellan's predecessor. Maybe Kaido was sent to Impel Down and experimented on by Vegapunk's group? And that's how he met King and Queen?

Zoro is not the VC and will never be the VC.

The only similarity they have is swords. And that means fuck all cause plenty of swordsman this arc are fighting non-swordsman opponents.
