Luffy saved by someone from falling into water means nothing. Luffy is not strong enough to defeat Kaido in 1v1.
Oda portrayed Yonkos as too strong. Only assppulls can save luffy now.

Like I actually like this but it 900% means the arc isn't that close to finishing haha, if that's my only complaint.

Hopefully whoever saves Luffy is surprising/new (unless he just lands on Wano far away) and the arc doesn't drag until he's in a recovered stated (which it will). Silver lining is Act 3 may actually be ending soon

Laws crew will be saving him from the sea and start his treatment right away.
Can't see any other reason Oda wouldn't let them go to Onigashima if not for saving Luffy...

Ok, so calm down on being reactionary. Luffy being defeated by Kaido will be the current status quo. Yamato, maybe Momo? Will keep Kaido busy while the SHs fight off the others. Time for Marco to make his exit and catch/heal Luffy. Zoro? Hope chopper has enough milk. 5 chaps till Luffy returns to Kaido, give or take. Their final battle will take place there.
