I don't want to start a beef. This is page here sort of summaries why Sanji is forever relegated to being my least favorite strawhat.
And no, Sanji has never changed from this sort of mind set. His own dreams change and are given up on multiple times and it's used as gags even by Oda how wishy washy he is. Also his dreams are generally lame so there's that. (But this is a personal thing since who cares about all blue whatever)
Again I'm not trying to cause a disturbance with unfounded jabs thrown at everyone. I've seen people who plainly dislike Chopper being cutesy or Ussop beige a coward. These are core personality traits written into these characters and they will never change and I can't start arguing with a person if they just plainly don't like traits like cowardice in their characters. Same as people who don't like Zoro's badass aloof stuff. Its just preferences and such.
This page stands as the quintessential I remember not checking out Sanji from ever being even in my top five and he just kept going lower and lower from there

Anyways what you posted doesnt really matter. Sanji has been potrayed to be a hypocritical character. He will sacrifice himself for his dreams or his friends. But as soon as someone else tries to sacrifice themselves, he will do anything or say anything to stop them from ending up dead.
Sanji puts everyone above himself. And that includes his dreams as well. And thats what Zoro does as well. However he isnt just as verbal as Sanji is.
When Sanji stated to Zoro to throw away his dreams, he was saying it for Zoro's safety. Not only that but because he knew Zoro was weak and he generally didnt know how Zoro was as a person.

I appreciate that you put thought into this and didn't want to just bash. I disagree with some of your points here but it's subjective.

It's funny how @Chrono and @ImmaIvanoM summed up why I think Sanji is a bad B.Shounen character, I didn't even have to say anything

Oh that lol. Well yes Sanji is a hypocrite. No denying that. But his hypocritical nature and flawed morals makes me like him more. Makes him feel more human and generally more entertaining. When comparing it to LuZo who are more straight forward, Sanji manages to have that same aspect however with more fucked morals and questionable motives at times. I also love how he is able to trigger so much people in so much different ways. No Shonen good guy could ever.
With all of this being said having character dives within and analysing him is way more interesting than looking at Luffy and Zoro and saying.....wow they have such cool moves !
