I just mentioned that EL felt the need to put Nami against someone that outmatched her and ended up facing an easier enemy later (still stronger than her) so the same could apply in this raid, whether it's switching to an easier enemy or just a life support Ulti is yet to be seen.

My full view of Actual Event: Zoro blocked the attack for a second, then got overpowered taking the attack and getting heavily damaged.

And got teleported by Law in the nick of time.

The pitiful condition of Zoro was caused by Kaido himself. You can add that BM too contributed to the attack but Zoro too only took the attack for a second before Law saved his ass by teleporting.

Anyways, the anime will clarify the Law teleportation scene most probably. That can't even be non canon as it'll show just what the characters did at that moment and won't be 'adding' anything of it's own.
