Character Discussion Zoro's goal is to simply be the Strongest in the world. SBS

That's all good
Mihawk > Akainu for me but even I don't put Mihawk at number 1 instead Kaido
But Zoro's feats just seem to progress on ridiculous level, we'd see greatest of feats in entire series from Luffy and Zoro as series progresses and due to that reason alone I put Zoro a tier above strongest current characters (Mihawk/Kaido/Akainu/Shanks/Dragon)
The issue with Zoro being number 1 which makes me doubt it is one simple thing...

Zoro has to WIN against the Final villain of the series itself... it’s the only way to CONFIRM the idea of him being strongest man in One Piece... and I have a hard time thinking Oda would do that

The "swordsman" part was just added to give all other factions a fighting chance but we know that it isnt stopping Zoro from being nr1 in the whole world. People never used logic in the first place, as if the strongest swordsman was limited from being the strongest.
That's where the "stronger in swordsmanship but weaker overall" nonsense came from, lol.
Oda is making Zoro into the strongest character of all times. Imagine, the character that revolves about strength only, achieving his dream. :yasu:

Not necessarily
His feats can be better than strongest villian
He can demonstratively defeat second strongest villian

There are many ways to convey that
Although I think both Luffy and Zoro (Equals) would be weaker than final villain

Thing is this can happen, but I have hard time as I said to believe Oda would do it... I have hard time thinking Oda will make anyone has better feat than final villain, Even Luffy, he probably will win with some exposing weakness shit... and plot and help.. so all I’m saying is that I just don’t feel like Oda would do it

it MIGHT happen and I’m wrong, I just have very little faith in it, that’s what my gut is telling me

I’m known for being Sanji fan, BUT
I am also an advocate for Mihawk > Shanks
And also for EoS Zoro > Mihawk and Shanks

I am not doubting Mihawk strength at all... it’s just I put Mihawk at top 3 (from known people excluding Imu-gorosei)... and I think Zoro will be above Mihawk... but I simply think there will be at least two guys from current active characters above that level and there is a possibility that I advocate too that Xebec will be back and also Imu are all gonna end up stronger...

It’s just when it comes to current characters... I always rank it as:
- Kaido
- Akainu
- Mihawk
With possibility of Dragon being a wild card who can replace any of the above

so generally... I just don’t think Mihawk is above all of those guys or Imu-sama or Xebec who I believe will return which is why I said what I said
i hate the fake stereotypes that people form about us just coz we defend sanji

Woah great theory i dont really think what pirate king do, but luffy dont want to lost to everyone. N luffy v zoro wont even happen, because luffy not swordman. But i like if zoeo is the strongest in the world. :goyea:

They'll pick up where they left off, when they finish their journey assuming Luffy lives :steef:
I like if this happen but i think zoro cant serious if fighting luffy, because he got debt to him.

I think "swordsman" is implicit there.

However, Zoro is the only one who constantly thinks about strength. When Oda drew the Strawhats' main thoughts, Luffy was "meat" and "king", while Zoro's was "swords" and "strength".

luffy atm is kinda in the same spectrum as the admirals and is closing i on Mihawk..

zoro still has his ways to go , relying on enma to do damage, being incapacitated by a yonko attack which seems admirable , but when you fathom the possibility that luffy is closing on someone who can cut the attack itself..and the fact that luffy kept up with an all out worked up kaido who was partly responsible for zoro's condition atm .... ... eeh.. just makes you realize that zoro has his ways to go to compete with someone like mihawk

Child Zoro thinking about his dream: "Ok, imma be the strongest in the world! BUT, only the strongest among these people who use these metal bars. It is ok if I am weaker than people without metal bars."
Is that how Anti-Zolo Pirates imagine it? :rolaugh:

He has been known as the Sword God, King and the one who has the world's greatest 'Warrior's soul' but never the WSS or WSM.
No, Ryuma was simply called "the strongest in the world":

There was no qualification of "swordsman"/"man", Ryuma was simply the strongest character in his era.

We already know this isn’t true especially if zoro fights a calamity

not even that it’s pretty obvious he’s talking about swordsman.

we saw the promise and it’s strongest swordsman not strongest in general. When Oda was talking he was talking about swordsman. Nice try though
A heavily injured Zoro fighting King has little bearing on how strong EOS Zoro will be. Even in this arc, Zoro's main opponent is Kaido.

It isn't even << world strongest >> to say oda would mean by that << World strongest Swordman >> but instead it is saying that
<< he is the strongest in the world >> like Madara's statement
:gokulaugh:
Who's Madara talking about here, Gai?
