My point is that, in your argument with Kronos, you make it seen as if Sanji's "clash" with Kaku was the same thing as the clash with King, and it meant nothing plotwise.
That's false because, in EL, Zoro had a plot that Sanji did not, which was the Galley-La mess. Zoro had more connection to the Paullie closure than Sanji, so it made WAY MORE sense for Zoro to fight Kaku then, despite power levels or whatever.
Here? Zoro has no plot whatsoever with King. King, so far, does not give Zoro anything new. "bu-but-learning coc". There's ZERO reason he couldn't achieve the same thing going against Queen, for example.
You simplified people's reasonings purely for the sake of being arrogant.

The most I can see for Sanji is to fight against Queen with Drake and Apoo. Drake and Apoo would do 99% of the job though and Sanji would probably get 2-3 kicks before being tail slammed to a wall for remainder of the arc.

In that case, it will be better for Sanji to get a 1 v. 1 against a damaged Jack.

Agree, i think this is the best realistic case for Sanji to level up, but we will might end up seeing Sanji and someone else vs. Queen.

Katakuri = King is based on what, exactly? And even if they were equals, so what? Katakuri had an "undefeated record" before facing Luffy. Does King have anything similar? Did we have any backstory where King and Katakuri faced each other and postponed or something?
King and Queen have different portrayal than Katakuri, due to the fact that Katakuri had the "main baddie of the arc" thing going for him. Big MOm was just a "stage hazard" in WCI.
Not only that, The Raid Suit is an excuse for Oda to make Sanji as strong as he needs him to be right now.
