It didnt do that much... Its hard to understand who is strong and why... I mean If you watched demon slayer and never watched other shonen animes, you wouldnt know who is stronger than who... its confusing

The monster trio has and will always be about strength. Luffy, Zoro and Sanji don't have any other sort of dynamic between them that keeps the Trio alive.

Sanji doesn't have good feats right now, yes. But only a dumb person would think that he won't get great feats going forward.

He is following orders since he is zoros underling even he told zoro not to give orders and then go back to sleep but followed his orders anyway

Demonslayer is not a manga about a good story, its a shonnen all about fights and thats pretty much it...The demons are baddies the hunters are good and they fight each other
In the manga the fights and specialy the payoff are pretty lackluster but the anime fixed it by giving the scene ridiculous ammounts of hype with a great animation and sountrack...here's what i mean:
