The most accurate way of measuring Onigashima, is calculating the width of the stairs leading into Onigashima. Since leading into Onigashima will put the stairs into perspective. And the stairs leading into Onigashima aren't that big:
These calcs are falacious. The first pic calculates the branch with 103px while calculating the sunny with 28px. But the calculator ignores perspective. Like the tree branch being right in front of the reader, while the ship is much farther away. Obviously, this piece of branch is not 3 times as large as the sunny.

That already makes the skull alone in 10 km range
Onigashima would be around 20 km range overall
