As you can see Zoro promised Luffy to round up samurais who will follow them to battle. Spoiler alert, Zoro lied. He doesn’t have the skill to do it, unlike Sanji who rounded up the minks.

2. Zoro slicing Kaido

Zoro was really cool in chapter 997. He “defeated” Apoo and said he came to cut down Kaido.

I love all the hype Zoro moments where he’s cutting things but they wouldn’t mean anywhere near as much if he didn’t have the character moments to give the cutting moments weight.

Dude, it's not meant to be taken literally , it's a romanticization meant to display how much zoro's dream is about Winning and of how much mental game he has in to it , it's a competitive dream
