Character Discussion Top 3 Zoro moments from a Sanji fan

#28
I also loved Zoro v Kaku and Zoro v Ryuma extensively
I didn't really care too much for ryuma

Imo Zoro's backstory is kinda underrated, especially when you see how it basically shapes his interaction with women throughout the series. Because Kuina was much stronger than him and he wanted to surpass her, he grew up thinking women could be just as strong as men(which in theory they could in the OP world; see big mom). Then kuina died in an absolutely pathetic way, by falling down stairs, and since then Zoro has always, at least subconsciously, viewed women as fragile.

Which is why he wasn't willing to cut down tashigi while he easily cuts down beast pirate fodder.

Again she didn't die from falling down the stairs ,how many times do I have to tell and he is not male chauvinist, just stop it

Sanji had two genuinely badass moments before the timeskip, and his fans have been stretching them thinner than tracing paper for more than a decade. At what point do y’all decide to drop all pretense and say you support this character because he accurately reflects the flaws you see - but are totally unwilling to address - in yourself?? :sanjimeh:

3. Zoro rounding up the samurai in Wano

As you can see Zoro promised Luffy to round up samurais who will follow them to battle. Spoiler alert, Zoro lied. He doesn’t have the skill to do it, unlike Sanji who rounded up the minks.

2. Zoro slicing Kaido

Zoro was really cool in chapter 997. He “defeated” Apoo and said he came to cut down Kaido.
Spoiler alert, this is what happened

1. Zoro never losing again

Another fantastic moment. My favorite Zoro moment. Zoro promises to never lose again. Spoiler alert, he loses to Enel, Kuma, Kizaru, Yeti cool brothers, Kaido,...

with this there is only one conclusion. Zoro is a liar and the biggest fraud. Looks like Usopp got a rival

Depending on how he pulls off 2 and 3, they might be my favorites too but I would push all 3 down for several others.
Number 1 is awesome considering so many strong characters and not a single one managed to best Zoro... :finally:

Hablo español, sí.

That's not a source. I asked you because, and don't take this wrong, I knew you wouldn't be able to provide an actual proof for this rumor that started in Reddit some years ago. So far it hasn't been supported that "falling down the stairs" is euphemistic for "suicide" in Japan, noone has ever found actual evidence for this, not even a page on idioms recording it; you even have a guy pointing this out in your Facebook link.
