It doesn't change the point: Luffy is born in the right timeline, he has the right DF ability, he has his family bloodline that saved his life many times (including Ace's sacrifice), Luffy and Zoro were trained by the most famous pirates–Rayleigh and Mihawk. Luffy has access to things that determine his success, Luffy's personal achievements have been removed completely.
Not any person in any world or any story is relying on special situations or persons met.
"The right DF" is what i was talking about the whole time, please read my postings when you argue against it. If he need exactly that DF, its gonna be bad. If its just symbolism and luffy would be able to achive all of this also with for example the gura gura no mi, its fine. Like it would be fine when Luffy was born 5 years earlier or later, alot of people were born at that timeline. Like it is fine when he got saved before cause of another reasons, like weather, relying on animals around him or pure luck. But these things doesnt change that he is achiving all this with his own doings. Naruto and Sasuke were only able to get this cause of suddenly appearing godlike power from a totaly new source of power. As long as Luffys way is to get trained and then achive all of this by his own power ups, it is totaly fine.
You know, there must be something that the hero is able to overcome the others from before. And if this something is getting trained by the right persons, or getting help from people he met, or being lucky, than it is totaly fine.
Or do you prefer a hero, coming out of nowhere, being able to beat the strongest living people, which got trained alot and trained alot by himself, gathering family and friends around him etc. pp., just because he is the hero?
