That's actually right too. A fight in which possessing a good degree of AoE output looks that significative and Luffy shows up with a low output of those. Except for his Gatling strikes but that's so different from an high environment control capability.

I think people are going to be surprised by the progression of adversaries to the main characters.

This arc Luffy will probably beat Kaido alone, but not after Kaido has fought like 20 different people lol. Akainu, Blackbeard, Im (if a fighter), and Shanks still come after, which indicate that they will be more viable threats to Luffy post Wano in the least.

The same goes for someone like Zoro. If he's meant to fight King, that means he's not a Yonko tier character. Shiryu is a under Blackbeard subordinate, thus not Yonko level remotely. If he fights Fuji, thst brings him to Admiral strength but that does not equate him to Akainu. If he fights the Monk Gorosei after all of this but before Mihawk, it would support that man being stronger than admirals or top YCs.

Like it's super interesting to think about at this point.
