General & Others I dislike how Sabo was written

So imagine when you were young, there was this one guy who lived in your neighborhood that you spent time with. You were really close with this guy and he was your best friend and all. Then say something happened, he went away, and you never see him until like 10 years later when you are now a fully grown adult. At this point, would this person even be considered your friend, let alone your brother?

Well, apparently that's how Luffy thinks.

But apart from this little nitpick, I think there're much bigger issues with sabo that just make it hard for me to like him. He is, essentially, an Ace clone. Luffy's other big brother, working for some other big shot in the new world, who also happens to now wield the mera mera no mi. He's a revolutionary, so I guess that makes him different.

The real issue I have with this is that sabo's death was a defining moment in Luffy and Ace's life, and I feel like Sabo coming back to Luffy and resuming his role as Luffy's big brother kind of undermines how important his death was. I also feel like Oda was intentionally shoehorning sabo into the role Ace filled. Like I said, if a childhood friend you knew for less than a year suddenly reappeared after nearly a decade of zero contact, would this person even be considered your brother?

Personally, I feel like Oda should have done something different from this. I know this might be a bit cliche, but I think it would have made perfect sense for Sabo to have been an antagonist. At the very least, Sabo had a much better motivation to turn evil than Obito did. He saw the corruption and evil of the world government. He saw how cruel and heartless the average person can be. I think it would have been much better for Sabo to have been some sort of terrorist rather than what Oda did with him; which was take the safe route and make him Ace 2.0.

Instead, Oda could have made him a parallel to dragon. Whereas Dragon wants a revolution but still maintains his ethics and principles, Sabo would be willing to overthrow the world government no matter what the cost. This doesn't take away from the impact of Sabo's "death" as in a sense, the sabo Luffy knew really did die that day.

In any case, I feel like Oda chose the safe and profitable route for Sabo's character, making him Ace 2, rather than attempting to do anything interesting with his character that could somehow lead to an interesting relationship between him and Luffy.

Well the match up is still there, hopefuly RA will try to get one piece from shp at the end
RA vs SHP
Dragon vs luffy
Sabo vs zoro
Iva vs sanji
Hack vs jinbei
Koala vs nami
Belo betty vs usopp
Lindenbergh vs franky
Karasu vs brook
Morley vs Robin ??
This makes no sense. The EoS SHs would rape these scrubs. Sanji, Jinbe, and Nami are already much stronger than the people you paired them with
