Kingdom is breath taking ... and I'm not saying a historical story can't be as good as a fantasy one
and Coalition arc was nothing less than a master piece

but a fantasy story can push all limits and achieve more ... and one piece plot is truly high tier even if we compare it to top novels
the world building + on going plots and story arcs are just massive and unreal

sure we have weak arcs like wano (I'm not a fan of wano) but balance of small drama and big drama in one piece and art of story telling is just madness

The potential that One piece has in world-building and ongoing plot points that were mystery's for years is massive and unreal. Basically, as long as those things are a mystery to us we are hooked up with OP and excited, but Oda disappointed with the reveal of those plot points very often. Unfortunately Wano is the arc were a lot of mysteries are getting revealed, so this arc is dragging it down as well. Just look at the chosen one Joyboy plot.

I mean look at this chapter ... Oda is using information from chapter 1 to build up people in chapter 1018. this is mad tier story telling
one piece plot is a masterful piece of art that can tie everything together while Kingdom plot is just about THAT arc (mostly) and is much more focused

that's why Kingdom arcs are more enjoyable you can say
while one piece is bigger and more complex

Well the main theme of Kingdom after all is the unification of China, so each major war kinda leads to the greater plan.

Sei's "battle" of words with Ryofui has been one of the best conversations in manga history. Chapters like that makes me put Kingdom on that Berserk/Monster tier.

Agreed. Ulti maybe less so since Nami got her powerup. Page 1 imo is way more likely due to:

- Usopp not receiving a powerup
- Same with Chopper
- The potential they possibly team up is potentially decent.
- He was twitching
- Had zero named moves unlike Ulti
- Barely fought/was way more competent against Sanji

I actualy like the idea of Ussope and Chopper fighting P1. Cuz no way they could solo P1.

Even though I like this chapter a lot because of WsW vs Jinbe part, I must say something negativ overall.
Tama... Tama ....Tama
Each page with this girl take,each single screentime, each page for Tama meaning less for other one piece character and I hate it a lot.

This is a fucking war with multiple battles, each page with Tama get, each one of them could get Robin vs BM or King. This is a waste of potential and why? Because Oda want his shitty Momotaru story(Tama story)with Tama in a war. But nobody care for that shit. People not read One piece for Tama. How he and his editors doesn't get it. It kinda sad at this point,Tama plot should move one in a single chapter, yet this shitty character get almost in every chapter screentime. Is this what Oda wanked for years or his editors? This is not the one piece with we love in the past. Yes side characters get screentime. But this time they take more then as they should be.

The sad part is, I though Tama plot would be over after the last chapter but with the current chaase I fear that Tama going to get more and more screentime. That is really bad, one of the most mistake with Oda ever done.

Seems like WsW was not in Impel Down, but was a slave in Marijoa, cool to see that the slaves have developed a kind of religion.

Sun god and a lot of other Sun/moon things are related with the dawn/d.clan, so pehaps he is JoyBoy. Cool to see that he look like a Shandian. Pehaps Jr was part of the group of Shandians that come from the moon
