well you're right then but i would say it's even more reassuring when you see how water-seven/enies lobby is a such a masterpiece of story telling.
We'll see how the gum gum fruit plotline goes but i trust oda and i don't think he will pull up some prophecy bs

He came up with all the Supernovas right before their introduction. Law, Kid, etc... were all conjured 1 week before their appearance, and now they're major players.

I wouldn't be surprised if he came up with WW's backstory last week lol.

Shanks can beat any admiral in a 1v1 fight.

Beckman should be able to push any admiral to high diff if he's as strong as he's hyped up to be.

so people should stop assuming other YCs are not as good as Roo or Yassop ... that's the min expectation

he plans a lot, it's undeniable. He doesn't plan everything but with how he stays consistent towards the themes and characters of the story even when he introduces things late it often flows very well. It's his adaptability which is very impressive to me, he constantly comes back to some details he put in the story hundred of chapters before and manage to integrate them in the present, it also contributes a lot to one piece worldbuilding and its organic aspect
