Fighting and talking is a sacred staple, the best is probably enraged Arlong dropping lore while Luffy chills in Nami's room, I swear Luffy learned more about Nami's past vs Arlong than in the entire time they have sailed together.

We know the sun god thing comes from the sky people. Who‘s who learning this from a Former ID Guard, which got fired later.

This fits in 2 different speculations we already had here. King being a former guard in impel down and king being some kind of sky man.

So the sun god story is not about another god for the story, it is not about Who‘s Whos background. This is hidden background story for King right here!

I don’t see how King can be WsW jailer.

- Who's Who is an Ancient Zoan
- Has barely shown off techniques between the last 2 chapters
- This is a Vs chapter, which usually does not end in a defeat until the following or subsequent chapters
- we can't even be sure Oda continues or finishes their fight next chapter.

For Vs chapters, Its either the chapter itself that the defeat takes place or the following chapter. So Who's Who is either defeated in this chapter or the next one. Oda's never cut away to something else after a Vs chapter.

except King being both at the same time. Using the sun god story to recruit pirates for Kaido.

never asked yourself how Kaido got caught several times, but somehow never was in impel down, cause nobody ever escaped from there?

he was in impel down. But he didn’t made his prison break, he just walked out of it, cause King opened the doors for him. That’s why King got thrown out when it got revealed.

He did it in this arc.
Yonkou vs Supernova chapter 1002, yet the fight end in 1010. This meaning thing don't mean much. So far Jinbe chapter where he defeat could named by his name. Like Chopper, Luffy and Nami get it.

Maybe, Kaido, because of his deathwish and his nearly immortality, is the perfect sacrifice for the sun god in the eyes of King.

Just some rambling, but....

We can infer that he wasn't actually a god, but maybe his abilities gave off the impression that he was.

The only devil fruit I can think of that would give off the impression of a "Sun God" is the Mera Mera no Mi.

Perhaps he was the prior user of the Mera Mera no Mi before Ace, or maybe the original user.

That fruit is now in Sabo's possession, where one of the objectives of the Revolutionaries is to take down the Celestial Dragons, thus they would be freeing the slaves in the process.

This might be the Will of the original Mera Mera no Mi user, which Sabo will fulfill.
