Well I wanted Jinbe to 1v1 Jack. Who cares about Inuarashi vs Jack?
Not giving Robin her 1v1 against Black Maria, her only second serious 1v1 in the WHOLE One Piece series is a crime!
At the rate of lackluster 1v1 fights and feats Oda is giving to the rest of the Straw Hats not named Luffy, Zoro or Sanji- i can't wait to see what plot, powerup and bullshit Oda will pull to write the Straw Hats beating the Blackbeard Pirates- who the majority of the One Piece fandom agree should be a 1v1 fight for every member of the Straw Hat crew.
While Teach's crew are getting Haki and devil fruit powers, the Monster Trio get almost everything, while the rest of the Straw Hats get almost nothing. And even when they do - not all of them are what readers would have liked. Ussop gets CoO made sense since he's been a scaredy cat who is always mindful of his surroundings and as a sniper would naturally be more proficient in CoO through his experience with finding and concentrating on targets when sniping.
But what about the rest of the crew (Jinbe doesn't count here, he's a Warlord and a veteran pirate). Robin learning Armament Haki would be helpful so that she's no longer weak to physical attacks. Franky should get CoA to enhance his cyborg body. Brook should get CoO so he can dodge better with his speed. Its wild that the Mid Trio- the oldest members of the crew, still haven't learned Haki, despite the shit that they went through (Brook dying, Franky destroying his body and Robin being on the run for decades), when the much younger Monster Trio have. Even weak asses like Tashigi and Rebecca are given Haki, Oda post time skip gives out haki to characters like giving out candy, but he can't give it to the rest of the Straw Hat crew, our main protagonists???
Oda give me 1v1 fights for the rest of the Straw Hats, especially for the mid trio please, they are too weak to being given strong opponents like what the Monster Trio gets, yet also too strong to be given hax plot like Nami vs Ulti. Don't just abandon them.
