thats for certain honestly and katakuri ultimately becomes top 3 YC1 commanders ...ig thats lowballing his potential as a yonko ttoo...which if you consider ... he's prolly training himself atm while betting on luffy to take down BM... to him it seems kinda inevitable but.. Katakuri is a potential Yonko candidate forsure and people just underestimate him for not out-enduring luffy ...thats lowkey underestimating luffy as well
Kata is always going to have a greater role in the story.
Kata was big moms strongest fighter. And most powerful son. He had CoC, he has Future Sight, and he was the first billion berry bounty the straw hats fought.
King is just a calamity. He’s a powerful member of kaidos crew but he doesn’t have a fraction of the portrayal or hype Katakuri had.

We know two things about King i.e., He is Kaido's strongest subordinate, and that his bounty is higher than Queen's bounty. The Beast Pirate crew is built around strength and being their second strongest gives King better hype. Queen already has a higher bounty than Katakuri, so it's obvious King has a higher bounty than Katakuri. In what way does King's portrayal is only a fraction of Katakuri's when he's better than him in every category that we learned about him?
He’s one of three calamities and kaidos doesn’t distinguish between them. He even sees Jack the same as king and queen.
