I was torn between Luffy and Zoro or Luffy and Usopp, and the main reason I ended up going with Luffy and Usopp is because I knew Luffy and Zoro would get a ton of votes regardless

Normally I'd say Luffy and Zoro because Zoro tries to act like more stoic character and hold Luffy back from doing retarded things but Oda quickly uses this as a joke and makes both of them dumb.

Nope. Zoro and Sanji didn't even have that much interaction post ts. Only in Wano did we see them properly interact. While many Zoro and Sanji interaction pre ts were fillers e.g the dish washing scene, the funny kissy face scenes etc. While Zoro and Luffy consistently have many good scenes together throughout.
