It's clear as a crystal what's going to happen soon:

- Zoro and Luffy will team up against Kaido one last time.
- Both inflict heavy damage to Kaido. Kaido is nearly defeated.
- Kaido breaks Zoro's sword (Sandai Kitetsu). Zoro doesn't give up on his swords so he needs to lose/ break the Nidai to get the Nidai.
- There is no way King is going to break his sword. Even Kaido couldn't do it in the first round.
- The Mink's super healing wears off and Zoro collapses.
- Luffy fights Kaido 1vs1 for 3 chapters. (1010 Zoro is defeated) (1013 Luffy is defeated)
- Luffy defeats Kaido.
- Zoro fights pain to get up and deliver one more hit. ZKK.

King was never meant to fight Zoro. He was meant to fight Marco. That's one of the main reasons why Queen had more screen time than King. Because Queen was mean to fight a STRAW HAT (Sanji). Oda can't hype up King for Marco because Marco is not a straw hat. The straw hats are the main characters. Even WW was more hyped up than King LOL.

I’m well aware of that, but this is a Yonko we’re talking about here…even weakened from multiple rounds, Kaido’s still powerful enough to have knocked the strongest, most recent version of Luffy out with offpaneled ease. Might be more likely that the rubber kid pulls it off solo, but there’s plenty of reason to believe he won’t be the only other person standing at the end, and Zoro’s a candidate for obvious reasons.

I rather not have Zoro go against Luffy words because that going against captain orders and him having blind faith in Luffy.
Zoro has no means to get on top of the roof unlike before.
Plus Yamato is already there and doing just find atm.

Luffy hasn't had the chance to go all out yet. He's just been testing out his new ability.

Zoro with 30 broken bones did more damage than AdCoc Luffy who got his ass handed him right after Zoro was no longer there to protect him.

Yeah, I was re-reading some of the chapters and it possible Oda will have Luffy get a new g4 form and Oda hinted it in chapter 1014 such as what Kaido said, Gum Gum what was it again?
