imo there is another way for kaido to fall. according to the legend behind the carp who climbed the waterfalls to become the strongest dragon, i can also see luffy punching kaido down wano's waterfall and him dying by drowning in the sea. i can go even further and talk about how wano's natural defense (the elevation) prevents wano from being fully open so luffy can literally hit kaido through the flower capital and send him crashing down the mountainous elevation and bring wano back to sea level. this follows the theme of the mythology of the fruit and literally opens wanos borders.

To call 3 chapters an "arc" is delusional by todays standards, also Axe hand Morgan was directly responsible for Zoro's execution and this was a moment designed to showcase Zoro and Luffy fighting together for the first time. Suck on some copium.

Zoro ended up needing rescuing in fishman island, and didn't fight Hody's final form anyway. Hody wasn't considered even a high diff fight for Luffy even with negative circumstances. Kaido on the other hand is extreme diff requiring Luffy to overcome limitations, Zoro isn't even at 1.5 billion man level.

Kaido has been the big bad for 400 chapters with Luffy declaring he would be the one to take him down and being in direct competition with Luffy for the title of PK. Luffy is the fifth emperor, not Zoro.
