luffy defeats the main villain (most of the time) and then the main villain is left alive..zoro has never killed a main villain after luffy defeats one...why would kaido be different ? thats the flaw in "i want luffy to defeat kaido but zoro to kill him afterwards"

Because unlike other Villians, Kaidou is the strongest creature. He's a wildcard, he will always remain a threat. Those other villians can be locked up, but Oda goes out of his way, in his first introduction, to inform us that, KAIDOU CAN'T BE LOCKED UP, KAIDOU WILL ALWAYS ESCAPE PRISIONS.
And we are moving on to the last arc, having another Villian with that big of an impact, will be extremely hard for Oda to follow
And if he doesn't die, then he will participate in the great war, which is like, his 2nd other dream, "of wanting to start the biggest war the world has ever seen"
I'm sure others can fill it for me.

okay i can agree with actually.But if oda is gonna have someone kill kaido after luffy defeats him then oda having the scabbards do it makes more sense.They have genuine hatred and loathing for kaido unlike zoro...

I dont think so kaido obsess being male or female. I didn't see any panel about it. Plus, he meet with big mom who is one of most stronger character in OP. Also, apparently, bigmom helped kaido . Why would he think like that

Well it's not we hold proof of this but going off common sense this is a valid reason why Kaido might label Yamato as son. It's an usual one which doesn't necessarily mean it's the case but it's what we can stick to for now until new elements eventually arise.

I think there's not much ground for something else if you think about it. Why would Kaido call Yamato a man. He would most likely not care about Yamato's feeling for Oden and I don't think that Kaido is simply mocking Yamato for the Oden thing. That's unlikely.

I think the former makes more sense because Kaido presumably wished Yamato to become Shogun.

I agree it's one of the possibilities, hell even Kid can do it.

When Luffy beats Kaido 1vs1,while having a much higher growth rate potential than Kaido
and all of Luffy's subordinates beat Kaido's subordinates
and take a large portion of the fodder with Tama
and prevent any new gifters through destroying SMILE
and gain the poneglyph meaning Luffy not only has Robin, a better navigator but 3 poneglyphs rather than 1

Then it is safe to say Kaido's aspirations of becoming PK are relegated to silver medalist status...

It's highly unlikely Kaido's imprisonments are since he's been holding Wano, and it's certain that the imprisonments haven't resulted in a thorough routing of his crew as is currently happening. Else one of the remaining scabbards would have tried to make a move already, if not the WB crew... But ignore those details as it doesn't fit your headcanon.

What about Enma? Because Oden failed to kill Kaido with it, that means Zoro will succeed? Oden had two swords, and failed with both of them. Oh, but wait, the Ame no Hibikari is meant to kill Orochi, because reasons, while Enma is meant to kill Kaido. Whose going to kill Orochi then? Ah, that's right, Hiyori, with Momonosukes sword.

So Zoro kills Kaido with Hiyoris sword, and Hiyori kills Orochi with Momos sword.

But what about Zoro stating he's going to get revenge for Yasuie because of what Orochi did to him? Ah, that's right, Kaido is the real threat, so Zoro killing Kaido means he got revenge for Yasuie from being killed by Orochi.

One sword is literally called the snake slayer sword literally famed in Japan against the yamato no orochi.
