Zoro was swerving Luffy towards leadership and trying to tell him he should not be disrespected/walked upon. Meanwhile Franky and Sanji were too personally invested in an action that they'd go for it even if Luffy disagreed. Not to say those were bad actions.
But still, I fail to see in what realms is that remotely similar situation.

exactly... and I also feel like it's more emotional and more impactful... and I believe it may happen during the match where Zoro becomes WSS... it will be so fucking epic that it's through the sword of his childhood friend "Kuina" whom they both promised to become greatest swordsman in the world... that this same sword is what turns permenant black, propel Zoro into a level where he can beat his enemy and claim that title...
Besides... it was ELUDED by Gyokimaru that Ryuuma's blade turned black because of the MANY BATTLES they gone through together... it was a line like that if I recall.... so which sword was Zoro's companion for the longest? since he was a kid? it is Wado Ichimonji... and luckily it is the sword which:
1- It's in the 2nd rank of swords
2- Still white, which can raise its rank
3- It's a sword that Zoro uses during his "one sword style finisher" like "Shishi son son"
Like, don't be surprised if Zoro is fighting Mihawk with extreme diff fight... with all three swords... and by the end, when he turns his Kuina's sword into black, he delivers a finishing blow with only Wado Ichimonji in one sword style finisher like Mr.1 fight

And no zoro is used there as a figurehead . And that is what oda does most of the time . If sanji is with the rest of the shs in the absence of zoro and luffy, oda labels them according to sanji . Who the hell cares about potrayal. Zoro is having feats that Sanji fans are begging for. And I watch One Piece for that shit, to see our character shines in real situation. Sanji fans can get a millions praised by Robin or anyone. It's the facts that Zoro gets to shine and has more feats in one single arc then the entirety of Sanji post TS combined.
It's easy for you to write "figurehead" but then you don't explain correctly. He is used as a figurehead because he is the nominal leader after Luffy> That's a vice-captain role = Check.
Also, Oda used Zoro as a "figurehead" in Nami's speech about "fighting" and why they should bring him if they want to fight is another way of telling the OP readers that Zoro is the head of the group of fighters after Luffy. Despite that Sanji, Chopper, Luffy, and Brook were in WC but Nami insisted on bringing Zoro, the figurehead, then the others> that means he is the fighter of the crew, Luffy's muscle, and an essential crew member for winning the fight= check.
Oda always portrayed Zoro as the strongest member. The guy who trains all the time and wants to be stronger. He is the combatant of the crew.

controlling the flow of haki through enma is what's key.. atm he has to consciously exert to restrict it.. when it just becomes a second sense to him.. he'd master it.. atm it allows him to utilize that perk even if he has to control the flow consciously and cut more than its needs as stated by that Tengu guy

Damn, everytime a girl clowns Sanji, either they fall in love with him or Sanji proceeds to get massive W's one after the other, what is next? Mid diffing Queen like he did to Jabra? There is no "Gates of Justice" like in EL for Sanji to deal with, so will he contribute to Kaido's defeat after fighting Queen or will he prevent CP-0 from making their move?
