why would sanji bother to block that? look at the gap between them, those kicks wouldn't reach him

impact shocks are there so he did kick to block.. rather than not letting her damage him.. and not hurting her in exchange

It doesn't has to be mentioned in the manga, it's a logical conclusion of the things i said above.
Oda himself said he didn't HURT BM, because all he did was countering her attack. He said that in an SBS when someone asked about Sanji kicking BM's fist.
Same thing with Black Maria, he wasn't kicking her, but he didn't use CoA on his face, because he didn't wanted to hurt her fists.

It's not like he doesn't kick woman, but punches them lol - he ain't doing neither.

Cap to kick is to use force. He has to use force to attempt to stop bigmoms attack. Hurting and kicking and punching are two different things. Sanji stated that he would not kick women period he then later mentioned that he would never use force against a woman. He did both trying to stop bigmoms attack
