I disagree with this particular point, whether it be gag or not, zoro and sanji always compete for small things, that's enough for me to say they are rivals. but yeah for other points its accurate, Luffy>Zoro>Sanji>others forever.

Well it clearly exists and they are the strongest ones not Luffy included, it doesn't mean they want to fight to see who is stronger, but they like to compete when it's possible, and the most important, they acknowledge each others strength and overall capabilities

Chapter 1021 hint

Not sure why people think the full Sanji vs Queen fight is happening so soon.

There's a lot we don't know in current form:


- Inu vs Jack (if that's even a fight)
- Zoro's next move
- Marco vs King (again, if that is even a fight)
- Neko vs Perospero
- Drake vs Apoo
- Killer vs Hawkins
- Raizo vs Fuku
- Orochi's whereabouts
- Denjiro/Kawamatsu/Izo's whereabouts
- The rest of Robin/Brook's fight
- The question of whether or not Nami, Usopp, Jinbe, Franky and Chopper have more to do (i.e. assuming if the F6 are even down and if the rest of Numbers play a factor)

And a myriad of other plotlines that seemingly need to be addressed before Oda probably tackles the calamities, Big Mom and Kaido. Hell, maybe some of the Strawhats or Supernova end up facing Big Mom's crew. Doubtful but we wouldn't know until we know the fates of the F6.


I'd say 1021 is at least addressing more of Robin/Brook and potentially Zoro's recovery

its power related and even if it wasnt then Rival means "a person or thing competing with another for superiority in the same field of activity.". And yeah zoro and sanji were competing for superiority in same field of activity(Capturing dino)
