I'm not sure why people would be upset if WsW got back up (not implying that anyone is saying it). If he's a "terrible" character as some people have mentioned, which is mostly based on him getting gimped by Jinbe, wouldn't it be a great thing if he got back up with a more competent fight?

Cap. In none of those scenes did zoro say that luffy was going to win etc etc. He only said that before luffy hadn't lost. There is no panel of zoro saying after that moment that luffy was going to handle it alone. Infact when the other strawhats and samurai stated that luffy was going to handle this they made it a point not to show zoro in any of those scenes saying it

Then I said that announcements were made around the entire island after he fell that "Luffy is going to win".

2 separate statements. One made by zoro. One made to the entire island by Momo.

Neither has anything to do with Zoro fighting Kaido

Again oda went out of his way to show the island and the strawhats saying it except zoro. Why would oda who had zoro say it before when luffy was still fighting not show one panel of the same zoro saying it when luffy lost? Exactly
